Why I am doing this
For years and I mean years, myself and Dave have wanted to do this. London to Paris on the bike will be an incredible, albeit tough experience that we both are focussing on for 2026. 7 months to train and be in the best shape we can be in, we cannot wait for it!
Having had the honour and privilege to see firsthand what Julia's House do for the children and families from another charity ride over 150 miles from London to Bath with work last year, I just want to do more for them. Just 8% of their runnings costs are from the government, meaning 92% are from donations. For the Wiltshire children's hospice alone, over £2.2 million is needed annually for the cost of care, I want to raise as much as I can for them, so please if you have anything to give and to help towards my target, I would appreciate it a lot and so will Julia's House and the families that need this support.

Discover Adventure specialises in worldwide cycling and trekking, with fundraising at its heart. Founded in 1994, through our core runs a passion for the outdoors and travel, and a desire to help others push their limits and create a positive impact through fundraising. Behind our challenging, fun, and often life-changing trips is a dedicated team of friendly staff and experienced leaders who take pride in every participant’s achievements.
Cycling from London to Paris is one of the great cycle experiences in Europe, and a classic fundraising challenge.
Passing through picturesque Kent countryside, we cross the Channel and continue through the small villages and medieval market towns of Northern France. With long days in the saddle and some strenuous hill-climbs, knowing you are helping the cause close to your heart will spur you on. The sight of the Eiffel Tower, our finishing point after approximately 300 miles, will evoke a real sense of achievement.
